The Traditional Range of Plastic Piles Minimize

APE's Traditional Range of Plastic Sheet Piling, is an advancement in terms of design and performance over the original budget range.

Design improvements include stronger, thicker sections, with additional ribs in the Ultra Z to enable more standard equipment such as an EMV300 to be used directly.  The ability to work with mainstream equipment, ensures that these products do install much better.

The Europile, from Pietrucha, was the first product APE presented.  It is a high quality product and despite the diverse range we now represent, it is still one of the better designs for watertightness.

The Europile is best considered as an advancement over the EcoZ and similar products, as it does not compromise coverage for strength.   The Ultra U provides a similar strength rating to the Europile, but provides a more conventional U profile and comes in dark grey.

The Ultra Z is a new product from Pietrucha, and at 11mm thick is a substantial product, providing a comparable strength rating to light trench sheeting such as the L8, M7 and M11.

The reliance upon a tradition or conventional steel pile shape, however, does reduce the aesthetic properties as these section do have relatively deep undulating corrugations.   Therefore, where a flat frontage product is essential to the design, it is better to consider the Advanced designs.

For application that are not so visible or can use a fascia, the Europile and Ultra U are extremely good value.

Product   Description

The Europile is one of APE's most popular products, appealing to users and contractors alike that are willing to pay that little bit more for a better installation and functional product.

The Europile is 300mm wide, 120mm deep and provides a flat front and rear pan, to ensure positive contact with waders.

The interlocks, where the sheets connect, face towards the load ensuring maximum contact between mating flanges.

Brand new to APE, is the Ultra U. This section is extremely rigid and use the more popular U configuration.   It also features heavy duty interlocks for improved water tightness and pull out resistance.

The Ultra Z, is a heavy duty section, designed to be driven and aimed at retaining wall applications that need a real sheet pile.

The interlocks are extremely heavy duty and offset to enable positive contact with any supporting waler.

Due to the extra strength, whilst an anchored design is still more popular, it does provide cantilever options.
